| Problem: | I'm using an SBC and my system will not power up. |
| Solution: | A common problem to this situation is using an ATX power supply without the required 3-pin power cable. The 3-pin cable consist of a 5V stand by, PS-On and Ground. Check to make sure you are using this 3-pin cable properly. Another possible
cause is improper jumper settings of the FSB. Locate, by using the manual, the jumper for FSB and set it to the lowest possible frequency. If
that fixes the problem, raise the FSB until the maximum frequency is attained while maintaining stability. Another possibility to the problem could be the use of incorrect RAM. Our boards supports ECC memory but not Registered memory. |
